JAMES is dedicated to making links between Education and the Media Industries. JAMES is the education arm of the Association of Professional Recording Services (APRS), the Music Producers Guild (MPG) and the UK Screen Association. JAMES is made up of dedicated working industry professionals who wish to ensure that many years of professional experience are not lost to future generations. JAMES approves high content UK based HE/FE courses and centres providing employable skills requirements for the many differing pro audio sectors. JAMES approved centres also provide students with Industry masterclasses. Sir. George Martin is the Patron of JAMES.

Another excellent evening of celebrating the UK's finest recording professionals at the 2010 MPG Producer awards held at the Cafe de Paris London 11.02.00 with MPG Producer of the Year this year being won by the excellent  Pual Epworth (Florence and the machine) Paul also picks up the BRITS best producer award 2010. The Deep sponsored 'Break-through Producer' award goes to Producer Paul Savage for his work based at his own studios Chem 19 beating equally talented nominees Carl Bown and Jason Boshoff on the night. Congratualtions to http://www.transgressiveproducers.com.
