To pay the concessionary fee
You need to bring proof of your eligibility for fee concessions. If you do not have the right proof you will not be able to enrol so please check first.

- Job Seekers Allowance (Signing on book is not accepted)
- Working Tax Credit - Household income of less than 15,050. You will need to bring Inland Revenue award notice TC602.
Evidence needs to be an official letter and if this is older than 3 months a recent bank statement showing the payments going in is needed with the original letter.

Fees
Fees are found against each of the courses listed on this website
First fee - concessionary fee for all courses Second fee - non-EU fee for all courses Third fee - standard fee for all courses
If there is only one fee, all students (apart from Under 19 s) must pay this fee
Under 19
If you are under 19 and over 16 on 31st August of the academic year you will pay nothing for your course.
You will need to bring proof of age with you to enrol:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Driving Licence
How do I qualify for concessionary fees

To be able to claim a concessionary fee, learners must be able to show acceptable means tested evidence. This evidence must be less than 3 months old.
- A DWP, Council or Job Centre Plus letter stating learners, name, address & type of benefit, this needs to be NO MORE than 3 months old.
If the letter is older than 3 months:- bring a current bank statement, that shows the NI number with the benefit stated next to it with the original letter. Take the old letter to be date stamped at the relevant benefits office, or take a proof of benefit letter from us to the relevant benefit office to be stamped.
- Asylum seekers need evidence that they are receiving support e.g. a letter, NASS vouchers, a post office pay out receipt for financial support along with their photo card or local government support letter (IND card on its own is NOT enough)
- Working Tax Credit: those learners in receipt of WTC or their partner and with a household income of less than 15,050 will be eligible for full fee remission. You will need to bring Inland Revenue award notice TC602. If the TC602 is older than 3 months bring a current bank statement, that shows the NI number with the benefit stated next to it with the original TC602
Level Two Concessions
If you are 19+ and do not have a full level 2 qualification then you may be eligible for free tuition fees but you will need to pay Examination and/or material fees if required.

If you are aged between 19 and 24 and do not have a full level 3 qualification then you may be eligible for free tuition fees but you will need to pay Examination and/or material fees if required.
